W.E.S.S.T Retreat and Olympics

Hello Engineers!

The Western Engineering Student Society Team (W.E.S.S.T)  is holding their annual W.E.S.S.T Retreat this year from the 17th to the 20th of October on the beautiful Gambier Island (Somewhere in Howe Sound). What is W.E.S.S.T Retreat you may ask? It is a weekend of team building designed to introduce engineers from different schools to each other and build a western network between students. Without going into to many details, the weekend represents possibly the most fun you’ll have in your undergraduate degree and a great opportunity to network with future professionals in the field of engineering. For more information go to the website and check it out.

The ESS will be subsidizing the delegate fees for the retreat. We are accepting applications for this subsidy from now until October 4th at 4:30 PM so make sure you get your applications in ASAP. The approximate cost to each of the delegates will be $50. The application form can be found at the link below and takes about 10 minutes to fill out.

I urge everyone to take advantage of this opportunity as it is a chance to make friends with some awesome people around the country.
